Does connecting my Xero account to TRIVER trigger automatic invoice advances?
No. Connecting Xero does not automatically advance invoices. In some cases, Smart approvals may pre-approve certain invoices, but funds only move when you choose to accept an offer.
Short answer: No. Connecting your Xero account to TRIVER does not automatically advance any invoices or trigger any funding actions.
What happens when you connect your Xero account?
When you connect Xero:
-
TRIVER imports your invoice data to make requesting advances faster and easier.
-
You no longer need to upload invoices manually as PDFs.
-
The connection is read-only until you explicitly choose to take an action (for example, requesting or accepting an advance).
For some customers, connecting Xero also enables Smart approvals:
-
We automatically review certain eligible Xero invoices
-
Some of those may be pre-approved for funding
-
You’ll see these as ready-made offers in TRIVER and/or receive Smart approvals emails
This is designed to save you time and give you more certainty over what we can fund.
What doesn’t happen?
Whether or not you have Smart approvals:
-
We do not automatically advance or draw funds against any invoices.
-
No money is moved without your clear and explicit consent.
-
You remain in full control over which invoices you want to advance and when.
- Smart approvals do not impact your credit rating.
Smart approvals, where active, simply lines up pre-approved offers so they’re ready when you need them — you still choose if and when to use them.
