Are all invoices imported from Xero already approved?
Most Xero invoices are eligible but not approved yet. In some cases, Smart approvals may pre-approve selected invoices for you, while you stay in full control.
Short answer: No, not all invoices imported from Xero are automatically approved.
When you connect Xero, your invoices are imported into TRIVER and checked against our eligibility criteria. Most of the time, you still need to request an advance for us to make a decision.
Those invoices will go through the same risk assessment process as any manually submitted invoice — it’s just a much more streamlined way to submit them.
What about Smart approvals?
If you’re part of our Smart approvals rollout, some of your eligible Xero invoices may be pre-approved for funding.
That means:
-
We automatically review certain eligible invoices from Xero
-
Some of them may be pre-approved in advance
-
You’ll see these as offers in TRIVER and/or receive an email when they're auto approved
A few important points:
-
Not all invoices will be pre-approved — that’s normal.
-
Nothing is advanced automatically. A pre-approval simply means the offer is ready if you choose to use it.
-
You stay in control of which invoices you advance and when.
- Smart approvals don’t run hard credit checks or create borrowing by themselves — they won’t affect your credit rating.
If you don’t have Smart approvals on your account yet, your Xero invoices will be imported as usual and you’ll request advances in the normal way.
